Council File No. 191035 — By Milton Rosen — Resolved, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay certain employes in the Water Department for extra employment as described in the resolution. Adopted by the Council February 17, 1959. Approved February 17, 1959. (February 21, 1959) WHEREAS- THE Comaissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from February lst to February 15th 1959 inci,, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: (1) Installing new 12" discharge line & tieing into existing 12" discharge line at Highland Tower; 3 NHandling meter reading cards received in the mail on Saturday: Reading water meters on holiday and Saturdays.
