WHEREAS, the City has a long term program to address repaits and rehabilitation of its Sewer Tunnel System; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Anthony Pazk Storm Tunnel has been identified as needing repairs a�d rehabilitation, and
WHEREAS, there is a critica] section of tunnel that should be repaired during the 2009-2010 construction season, and
WHEREAS, this work was originally adopted by City Council Resolution 08-1378, known as SU-6601683: Sewer Tunnel
Rehabilitaaon Program; and
WHEREAS, additional funding is needed to address said critical repairs in the Saint Anthony Park Sewer Tunnel; and
WHEREAS, Public Works is recommending using the balance of its 2009 Major Sewer Repair funding to finance this work; so
THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendafion of the Mayor and advice of
the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $1,60Q773 is available for appropnation in the 2009 Capital
Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by tltis Council, be hereby further amended m the Improvement
Budgets, in Ihe following particulazs:
