PAUL Floe °NCIL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION- GENERAL FORM RESOLVED, that that certain lease entered into on the 1st day of December, 1958, by and between the Port Authority of the City of St. Paul and Twin City Barge and Towing Company, by which lease "the riparian rights along approximately 3000 feet'of the shoreline of three (3) islands lying in the Mississippi River against the easterly- ,bank and also easterly of the channel of said river, being all the river - frontage of. -said islands lying wholly within Section 22, Township 28inorth, Range 22 north" were leased to said Twin City Barge and Towing Company for the rental of $300 per year, is hereby in all things approved, and the Port Authority is hereby authorized and empowered to receive the rentals under and pursuant to the. lease; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is drafted to affirm .... the said lease and protect the.Port Authority, inasmuch as at the present time title with reversionary rights rests in the City of Saint Paul, it having been agreed between'the Port Authority and the City that title to the land leased would be conveyed to the Port Authority with all rights of reversion but that said deeds of conveyance have not yet been prepared by the office of the Corporation Counsel and executed by the proper Cite ,officers.
