P=LVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
takes cognizance of the pendency of proposed legislation for
enactment by the Minnesota State Legislature which would permit
the several counties of the State to dispense or eliminate
personal property taxes otherwise to be assessed and levied on
household goods and urges the enactment by the State Legislature
of such proposed legislation; and that in the event of its.,
a
enactment the Board of County Commissioners of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, be urged to exercise any option provided by such
r
legislation' therefor and to the end that such personal property
tax on household goods situate in said County be dispensed Ii
