WHEREAS, The City Council, as provided by law, has authorized the Department of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings to enter upon the premises known and described as 192 Duke Street (Except N. 88 feet Lot 8, Gracets Subdivision of Block 2, Willets Addition to Saint Paul),and to tear down and remove the duplex dwelling, sheds and debris and fill the cesspool thereon as being unsafe and danger- ous to- life, limb and adjoining property, and WHEREAS, Pursuant to such Council action, bids for the tear- ing down and removal of said buildings were duly advertised for in accordance with the provisions of the City Charted and the lowest bid was in the sum of $297.00,and the expenses+of the Depart- ment of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings in connection with dondemnation proceedings and writing specifications amounted to $ 55.38 making a total of $352.38 and _WHEREAS, there are no funds now appropriated in the Building Wrecking Emergency Fund for the wrecking and removal of said build- ings,-be it! RESOLVED, That said sum be paid out of the Wrecking Condemn- ed Buildings Account of the General Fund, 31 G 22, and that in the event said sum proves to be collectible from the owner of the prem- ises, same is to be credited to General Fund Item 31 G 22.
