RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro- ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith. Paul 2, Minnesota Dear Mr. Winkel: I We are enclosing herewith, petition for sidewalk on the west side of Ruth Street from Case to Stillwater Avenue. �a There are four homes in this block and you will note, from the Ij petition, that two of the home owners have signed the petition, and while the other two have not signed it, they have indicated that they will not oppose the installation of sidewalk. f° We are writing you with reference to this petition for the reason that this block is one of the main routes for children living south i of Stillwater Avenue and eastof Ruth Street to travel to the Nokomis i School, located ,'at the corner of Case and Ruth. t In the interest of the safety of our school children, we urgently request your favorable consideration of this petition for sidewalk, and would,greatly appreciate being kept advised of the action taken r on it.
