WHEREAS, In connection with partially opening, widening and extending
Shepard Road, it is necessary to condemn and take the following described lots
and parcels of land: Lots 8, 9 and 11, Block 2, Stewart Ave. Addition; Lots 3
and 5, Block 4, Riverside Addition; Lots 1, 2, 3, 59 6, 7 and the northeasterly
1/2 of Lot 4, Block 3, Riverside Addition, for the needed right -of -way and to
finance incidental expenses incurred in connection with such acquisition, at a
total cost of $70,367.97, and

wNERFQS, The Minnesota Department of Highways has approved the reimbursement
to the City of St. Paul for the above stated costs out of the allocation of
Minnesota State Aid Highway Funds to the City of St. Paul under Municipal State
Aid Project No. 62- 504 -08; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to proceed with the needed condemnation of properties for the right-
of -way on Shepard Road and that all costs of acquiring the properties and other
incidental expenses which cannot be financed by assessments be paid from the
P.I.R. Fund, Code 3001, said fund to be reimbursed from the Municipal State Aid
Fund - Project No. 62- 504 -08.
