RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized,
with the consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to issue Purchase
Order to CUTLER- MAGNER OOMPANY for 339.35 tons Lime at a cost of
$5,259.93, without advertisement or competitive bids as an emergency
existed where failure to act promptly would work hardship to the best
interests of the City.
