WHEREAS, in the matter of Comptroller's Contract,
L -5280, for the construction of and- repairs to
Sidewalks in District No. 3, for the year 1953,
the date for completion is November 1, 1953, and
WHEREAS, Keogh Contracting Company, Contractor,' has
prosecuted the work diligently, but due to delays
caused by conditions beyond the control of the Contrec tor,
it was not possible to complete the Contract within the
time specified, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers be; and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute'`an Amendment
to said Contract extending the time for completion
to AUGUST 171 1954, provided, however, that this
Resolution shall have no force or effect, unless the
Sureties on the Contractor's Bond consent thereto,
and file, such consent in writing with the City
Comptroller, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the
all claim for liquidated
and inspection charges on
