Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for
regrading, curbing and paving Maryland Avenue from Western Avenue to Abell Street,
reconstructing existing curbing where necessary, constructing sewer, water and gas
connections from the street mains to the property lines where necessary, constructing
drainage facilities and doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvement
under Preliminary Order 17P151 approved March 2,x,955 ,
Intermediary Order 17 -AP77 , approved May 24., 1955 ,
Final Order'' 173681 , approved -June 21, 1955
The assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the loth
day of June , 195_, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
