RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the City
of St. Paul Water Department McCarron Pumping Station, St. Paul, Minnesota, one
5 K.V. Switch Gear including field inspection and supervision for ten days
(McCarron Pumping Station Contract #1 -A - 1959 Extensions) to GENERAL ELECTRIG
SUPPLY COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #7678 of said General Electric Supply Company, at a
contract price of $51,036.00, such bid being one of identical low bids and said
General Electric Supply Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of
