A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said .City is to restore the sidewalk on both sides of McKinley
St. from Arlington Ave. to Frankson Ave. by constructing new sidewalk where necessary
and by repairing where practical
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-

sidewalk on both sides of McKinley St. from Arlington Ave. to Frankson Ave. by
constructing new sidewalk where necessary and by repairing where practical,
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby
reports:

I received your notice regarding the constructing of
sidewalks on McKinley Street from Arlington Avenue to Frankson
Avenue.
My sidewalk is in good condition and I do not think
it is necessary to replace it. Furthermore, I an a widow and
do not have the money to pay for it.
I hope this letter is sufficient as it is difficult
for me to come down because of my age which is 82. However, if
it is necessary for me to appear in person, kindly advise me and
I shall arrange to do so.
