1. esolved, That the proper City of-
ticials be, and they are hereby author-
ized and instructed to execute on be-
half' of the City of St. Paul a proposed

RESOLVED, That the proper city officials be, and they
are hereby authorized and instructed to execute on behalf of
the City of St. Paul a proposed agreement with the State of
Minnesota, DdpartmenC of Highways, covering apportionment be-
tween the Department of Highways and the City of St. Paul for
the cost of furnishing and installing new traffic control sig-
nal's and revising existing traffic control signals at said loca-
tions hereinafter indicated, and providing for reimbursement by
the Department of Highways, State of Minnesota to the City of
St. Paul for the proportionate share of expenses to be borne
by the Department of Highways:
1. Install new traffic control signals at Rice Street
(T.H. No. 56, and #218) and Summit Avenue, Rice
Street (T.H.. No. 49) and Sycamore Street, Summit
Avenue, (T.H. No. 212) and Sixth Street, Seventh
Street (T.H. No. 5) and Goodhue Street.
2. Revise existing traffic control signals at Rice
Street (T.H. No. 49) and Maryland Avenue, Rice
Street (T.H.,Ao. 49) and Front Avenue, Arcade
Street (T.H. No. 61) and Case Avenue, Kellogg
Boule\iard (T.H. No. 5, No. 56, and No. 218) and
Wabasha Street (T.H. No. 218).
3. Install new traffic signal controllers at Univer-
sity Avenue (T.H. No. 10, No. 12, No. 49, and
No. 52) and Park Street, University Avenue (T.H.
No. 10, No. 12, No. 49, and No. 52) and Rice Street
(T.H. No. 10, No. 49, No. 56, and No. 218), Univer-
_si'ty Avenue (T.H. No. 12, No. 52, No. 56, and No. 218)
and Dale Street, University Avenue (T.H. No. 12, No.
52, No.. 56, and No. 218) and North Lexington Parkway,
University Avenue (T.H. No. 12, No. 52, ait: No. 56,
