RESOLVED, °That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Surfacing & Seal Coating of Arcade
Street from E. 7th Street to Minnehaha Avenue; Mounds Blvd. from Kellogg Blvd. to
E. 7th Street; E. Minnehaha Avenue from Earl 'Street to Frank Street; Kennard Street
to Flandrau Street; Birmingliam Street to,Hazelwood Street; Robert Street from
Kellogg Blvd. to C. G. W. Bridge, King Street to State Street; Concord Street from
17abasha Street to 200 ft. E. of Ada Street; Auditorium Street from 9th,Street thru
7th Street; also Seal Coating of Concord Street from 200 ft. E. of Ada Street to
Annapolis Street; Minnehaha Avenue from E. 7th Street to Earl Street to E. J. PENNIG
CMIFANY in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #7669 of said E. J. Pennig Company for the contract price of
:$106,,622.49 (at unit prices bid),(plus Engineering $3,198.67 and plus Inspection
:$2,132.45 by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said E. J. Pennig Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
