In the matter of partially opening, wi dRni ng and extending Shepard Read by eendemning
and taking the following described lots and parcels of land: Lots 8,9 and 11, Block 2,
Stewart Avenue Addition; Lots 3: add 5, Block.4, Riverside Addition; Lots 1,2,3,5,
6, 7 and the northeasterly 1/2 of Lot 41 Block 32 Riverside Addition,
under Preliminary Order 1900 �7 , approved November 20, 1958 ,
Intermediary Order 191710 , approved Apri 1 -72 1958 ,
A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of
improvement to be made by the said City is partially opening, widening and extending Shepard
Road by condemning and taking the following described lots and parcels of land:
Lots 8,9 and 11, Block 2, Stewart Avenue Addition; Lots 3 and 5, Block 4., Riverside
Addition; Lots 1,20,5,6, 7 and the northeasterly 1/2 'of Lot 41 Block 3, Riverside
Addition,
and the Council hereby orders said improvements to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following land, lands or easements therein be and the same are
hereby ordered to be taken, appropriated and condemned for the purpose of making said improvements,
viz" Lots 8,9 and 11, Block 2, Stewart Avenue Addition; Lots 3 and 5, Block 4.
Riverside Addition; Lots 1,20,516,7 and the northeasterly 1/2 of Lot 4,
Block 3, Riverside Addition.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and the proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to proceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration
the preliminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 190027 ,
approved November 20th 19 58 , relative to partially opening,
widening and extending Shepard Road by condemning and taking the following_
described lots and parcels of land: Lot 8, 9 and 11, Block 2, Stewart Ave.
Add.; Lots 3 & 5, Block 4, Riverside Add.; Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 and the
northeasterly 1/2 of Lot 4, Block 3, Riverside Addition
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby
reports:
