WHEREAS, on November 21, 1956, an accident occurred on
Grand Avenue at its intersection with Victoria Street in the
City of Saint Paul, involving an automobile owned by Rose
Sokulsky and being then and there driven by Russell Sokulsky
and a City vehicle,driven by Joseph Maidl; and
WHEREAS, both vehicles were damaged and a suit was
begun by Rose Sokulsky against the City of Saint Paul and
Joseph Maidl, and Registered Bill No. 1 -679+ was issued to
Russell Sokulsky for damage done to the City vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the I\iability for this accident is in question
and the parties are "desirous of effecting a compromise; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that upor

WHEMS', the liability for this accident is in question
and the parties are desirous of effeeeting a compromise; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that upon the execution of releases signed by
Russell Sokulsky, Rose Sokulsky and their insurer, Employers
Nutual Casualty Company, the proper City officers are hereb
authorized and directed to, cancel Registered Bill No. 1 -.6794
in the amount of . *71.50.
