MINMISOTA Larch 16, 1959 This is in the matter of the application of the Second Church of Christ the Scientist for a permit: to establish parking facilities for twenty -four cars accessory to the church on property located at the northeast corner of Miss- issippi River.Drive and Highland Parkway. The property is described as Lot 8, except the north 121 feet, and all of Lots 9 and 10, Block 2, Edgecliff Addi- tion No. 2. The east 100 feet of these lots is zoned "C" Residence; the north 31 feet is zoned "A" residence, and the remainder Light Industry. The parking facilities will be located in the portion zoned "C" Residence. The applicant proposes to establish"'the parking lot to the east of the church. The lot will have a frontage of 63 feet on Highland Parkway, with a depth of 121' feet, and will be served by a 20 foot driveway from Highland Parkway. The adjacent land uses are as follows :F; immediately to the north, vacant land which will be- developed with a 15 unit apartment building, further to the north are single_iamily homes; -to the east across a 10 foot platted dLley are the rear yards of residences fronting on Woodlawn Avenue; south across Highland Parkway is vacant land; and southeast across Highland Parkway are apartments. r The plans meet existing standards and have been approved, by the Traffic Engineer. Field investigation discloses no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land uses or traffic.
