Dear Council Members:
ROBERT A. LOBDELL
Supt. of Public Recreation
We have completed an investigation of the one story frame
store building, approximately 24 by 33 feet, located at
544 Rice Street, also known as South 8 feet of Lot 6,
and All of Lot 5 except South 26.83 feet, Block 2, Whit -
neyLs Subdivision of Blocks 1, 2,- 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and
part of 17, Brewsterts Addition to St. Paul.
This building is very dilapidated, walls are irregular,
roof sags and most of the material at the base is rotted.
This building is dangerous to life, limb, and adjoining
property and-should be wrecked and removed.
Danger Notices have been posted and the last known record
owners are listed as Meyer and Tillie Mastbaum, 1363 Jennings
St., Benton Harbor, Michigan. We are advised that William
Naiditch, 455 Rice Street is now the owner.
Please start condemnation action by setting a hearing date
in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the St. Paul Legislat-
