WHEREAS, It is necessary to have a specially trained man to act as a
Tennis Instructor for the Playground Bureau for the period of June 15th through
August 23, 1959, and
WHEREAS, Ralph E. Olson, 235 S. Lexington, St. Paul, Minnesota, has
the required training and capabilities to perform such duties and is willinigto
enter into a contract with the City of St. Paul to act as Tennis Instructor on
the basis of$500. 00 for said period, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings
has recommended that a contract be entered into with the said Ralph E. Olson
upon the aforesaid basis; therefore; be it
RESOLVED, That the Council concurs in the recommendation of the
Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings, and the Corporation
Counsel is hereby authorized to draw the contract therefor and the proper City
gfficers are authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City.
