RESOLVED, That in accordance with Section 169.14, Subdivision 5,
of the Minnesota Motor Vehicle and Traffic Laws, the Coun-
cil of the City of Saint Paul hereby requests the Commis-
sioner of the Minnesota Department of Highways to deter-
mine the maximum safe speedy on the following streets or
portion3 thereof:
Upper Afton Road from the East City Limits to
500 feet east of Battle Creek Road.
and to authorize the City of Saint Paul to revise the
eic:i.st i,ng speed zone in accordance with the findings of
the Commissioner of Highways.

council file requesting the Commissioner of Highways to
determine the maximum safe speed on Upper Afton Road from
the east city limits to 500 feet east of Battle Creek
Road.
The necessary traffic engineering investigation and sur-
vey will be made as soon as possible, after which you
