UNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, Section 129.05 of the Legislative Code of the
City of Saint Paul creates a Traffic Coordinating
Unit consisting of the Traffic Engineer add the
Police Traffic Superintendent acting jointly, and
WHEREAS, said Traffic Coordinating Unit is delegated
by the Council certain authorities and powers for
the promulgation of traffic regulations.and
WHEREAS, the position of Traffic Engineer is temporarily
Vacant, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby designates and authorizes Robert G. Peterson,
Assistant Traffic Engineer — Operations, to perform
the function of and act for the Traffic Engineer,
` i'nsofar as the Traffic Coordinating Unit is con-
cerned, said designation and authorization to be
effective only from March 16, 1959 until such time
as an official appointment of Traffic Engineer is
made.

Whereas, Said Traffic Coordinating
Unit is delegated by the Council cer-
tain authorities and powers for the
promulgation of traffic regulations,
and
Whereas, The position of Traffic En-
gineer is temporarily vacant, now,
therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Council of the
Cityy of Saint Paul hereby - designates
aid. authorizes Robert G. Peterson
Assistant Traffic Engineer- Operations, ,
to perform the function of and act for
the Traffic Engineer, insofar as the
Traffic Coordinating Unit is concerned,
said designation and authorization to
be effective only from March 16, 1959
until such time as an official appoint-
ment of Traffic Engineer is made.
