Box 329, Minneapolis 40, Minnesota February 24, 1959 City Council City of St. Paul c/o City Clerk St. Paul, Minnesota Gentlemen: Red Owl Stores, Inc. operates three retail stores in Jed--il v the city of St. Paul at the following addresses: 1. 1715 West 7th Street 2. 415 North Lexington Parkway 3. 2117 Hudson Road ( Sun Ray Shopping Center),& - 4 -J` with parking lots adjacent to each, at which we contemplate the sale of certain items of nursery stock and related merchandise during the months of April, May, June and part of July. In order to obviate any possible health dangers, we will sell the nursery stock from our adjacent parking lots and in this connection we will need to "house" the merchandise under a tent of approximately 20 feet by 36 feet in size. These tents will be erected so that they will be very,neat in appearance and will not be an "eye sore" to the area. The area surrounding the tents will be kept neat and clean and free from waste and debris.
