Dillon, mayor, by request Whereas, William F. Proetz, employe of the Department of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul, was injured in a third party accident on August 31, 1958, while engaged in the perform- ance of his duties for the 'Department of Public Safety, and the City has expenses. in the WHEREAS, William F. Proetz, employe of the Department of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul, was injured in a s third -party accident on August 31, 1958, while engaged in the performance of his duties for the Department of Public Safety, and the City has incurred medical expenses in the amount of $67.$0 therefor; and WHEREAS, there was damage to the City's vehicle, as a result of said third party accident, in the total amount of $13.10, and Registered Bill No. 3 -2874 was issued to Dale L. } Jandro, third party involved in said accident, in said amount of $13.10; and WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated by the parties whereby William F. Proetz will receive the sum of $50.00 over and above the amount he has expended for medical bills; and the City is in receipt of Draft No. 36357 of the Farmers Insurance Group, for the City's total expenses in connection with the personal injury of the employee and for the property_damage, now, therefore, bb it-t: RESOLVED, The proper City officers are hereby authorized to accept said settlement in the amount of $80.90, in full settlement of its claim against Dale L. Jandro, for the City's expenses in connection with the personal injury of William F. Proetz and for its property damage expense arising as a result of said third party accident of August 319 1958; and that of said amount, $67.80 be credited to Fund 31 -G1 -A, and $13.10 be credited to payment of Registered Bill No. 3 -2874, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, The proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute any necessary releases.
