therefor and hereby awards contracts for furnishing and delivering the following
cars to the Department of Public Safety,Repair Shop, 1441 Rice Street, St. Paul,
Minnesota -
To: CHAMPION CHEVROIRT COMPANY
8 - 1959 Chevrolet #1211 Sedans, 8- cylinder, 2 -door, 6- passenger at a price
of $16,622.240 less allowance for 7 1956 Ford Sedans and one 1955 Oldsmobile $2790.00
making net amount of contract $13;832.24.
To; MIDWAY COMPANY (FORD)
7 - 1959 Ford Ranch.Wagons, 8- cylinder, 4 -door, 6- passenger at a price of $17,983.00,
less 'allowance for four 1957 Chevrolet Sedans, two 1957 Ford Country Sedans and
one 1950 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon - $3000.00, making net amount of
,contract $14,983.00
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#7777 of said bidders, such bids being the lowest bids and said bidders being reasonable
and reliable bidders and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contracts on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
