FURTHER RESOLVED, that the rate of pay for the classification of Building Maintenance
Supervisor — Parks and Recreation be changed from that set forth in Grade 045 to that set forth in Grade
046 of Employee Group 10, the Manual and Maintenance Supervisors Salary Schedule, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the change in the rate of pay wil] be retroactive to Apri125, 2009.
PINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period
following its passage and approval.

Initiating Problem, Issues, Opportunity (Who, What, When, Where, Why):
The Office of Auman Resources bas completed a study of the Building Maintenance Supervisor - Parks and Recreation posirion held
by Joe Buzicky. This study indicates that the incumbent is working at the correct classification, however, it has been determined that a
grade increase is warranted. Because no grade exists with recommended rates, a new grade 046 is to be established within the Manual
and Maintenance Supervisors 2009 Salary Schedule.
