1 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, together with its City Clerk, has duly canvassed the
2 returns and votes at the City Primary Election held Tuesday, September 15, 2009, and
4 WHEREAS, it appears from said retums and the canvass thereof that the following number of votes were
5 cast for nomination for the office of mayor:

12 WHEREAS, it appears from said returns and the canvass thereof that the following named candidate
13 received more votes than any other for the nomination for the office of mayor:

18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that each of the aforesaid persons are hereby declared to be nominees
19 for the office of mayor at the next City General Election to be held in the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota on
20 Tuesday, November 3, 2009, and their names shall be printed as such candidates on the official ballots of
21 said election.
