WHEREAS, James G. Truso, an employee of the Department
of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul, was injured on March
2, 1959, in a third party accident, while engaged in the performance
of his duties for the department of Public Safety, and the City has
incurred medical expenses in the amount of $35.00 therefor, and
the employee, by reason of said injury, was disabled for work for
four working days, being paid the amount of $93.80 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated by the parties
whereby the employee will receive the sum of $400, and the office
of the Corporation Counsel is in possession of a check of the
employee James G. Truso in the amount of $128.80, payable to the
City of Saint Paul, in settlement of the City's claim for medical
..expenses and salary paid for the employee because of said injury,
Now, therefore, be* it
RESOLVED, The proper City officers are hereby authorized
to accept said sum of $128.80, in full settlement of its claim
for medical expense and salary, said expense incurred as a result
of the personal injury of James G. Truso in said third party
accident of March 2;. 1959; that of said sum, $35.00 shall be
credited to Fund 31 -G1 -A, and $93.80 shall be credited to
Fund 7 -C -1.

WHEREAS, James G. Truso, an employee of the Department
of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul, was injured on March
2, 1959, in a third party accident, while engaged in the performance
of his duties for the department of Public. Safety, and the City has
incurred medical expenses in the amount of $35.00 therefor, and
the employee, by reason of said injury, was disabled for work for
four working days, being paid the amount of $93.80 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated by the parties
whereby the employee will receive the sum of $400, and the office
