pco}ect, lmown u SU-0801899 and appioved by CF 07-1011, and
WHEREAS, the s�eet lighting portion of this project was unintentionally omitted from the original engineer's estimate, the s�eet lighting
work will be performed by CiTy Forces, and
WHEREAS, the street lighting work on the Selby Avenue — Kent W Arundel project is eligible for MSA funding, and
W[IEREAS, there was MSA financing approved for the 2006 White Beaz Avenue Intersection Improvements projea as a cost shaze with
Rau�sey County that is no longer needed due to lack of County funding, and
WHEREAS, Public Woiks is recommending a transfec of available MSA financing from ihe 2006 White Beaz @ Maryland101d Hudson
Intersection Improvements project and the 2009 Municipal State Aid Co�tingency to cover [he wsts associated with the Selby Avenue Project,
and
WHEREAS, there is also water and sewer related work to be done under this contract which will be financed by the Saint Paul Regional Water
Service and Major Sewer Repair program funding so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of [he City of Saint Paul, upon ruommendation of the Mayor aud advice of the Long
Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $288,316.44 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as
heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvemeat Budgets, in the following particulars:

Initiating Problem, Issues, Opportunity (Who, What, Whe�, Where, Why);
Public Works has awazded a wntract for the Selby Avenue-Kent to Arundel project. The street lighting portion was unintentionally
omitted from the original engineei's estimate, this work will be performed by City Forces. The street lighting work is eligible for
MSA funding. There is MSA funding eazmazked for the 2006 White Beaz intersection impiovements as a cost share with Ramsey
County that is no longer needed due to lack of County funding. Public Works is recommending transferring the MSA needed for the
s4eet lighGng &om this project and the 2009 MSA Con6ngency project to the Selby Avenue project. Also there is water and sewer
related work to be done under this contract which will be financed by SPRWS and Major Sewer Repair fitnding. This resolution also
uansfers MSA funding from the 2009 Contingency to the 2008 Contingency ko coirect CF 09-705.

There will be sufScient budget to cover the cost of street lighting, water and sewer work proposed to be done under this contrad. The
2008 MSA Contingency account will be corrected.
