SOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment
and services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the installation of two
baseball backstop hoods at Hazel Park Playground located at Case Avenue and
Van Dyke Street, St, Paul, Minnesota to CYCLONE FENCE DEPT., AMERICAN STEEL & WIRE
DIV., U S. STEEL CORP. in accordanceuith City n1sm and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7654 of said Cyclone Fence Dept., American
Steel & Wire Div.," U. S. Steel Corp. for the contract price of $750.00, such
bid being the lowest and said Cyclone Fence Dept., American Steel & Wire Div.,
U. S. Steel Corp. being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation
Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the Citv of Saint Paul.
