RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor,
material, machines, tools.and equipment for constructing, repairing, re-
laying or- reconstructing such monolithic concrete or cement tile' sidewalks
and other'work incidental thereto, within Sidewalk District N0.3, as may
be• ordered by the Council for the current year prior to September 1, 1959,
except such work as the Council may order to be done by City Force Account,
to EUGENE- BULACH in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7658 of said Eugene Bulach for the con-
tract price of approximately $43,251.50 (at unit prices bid) plus $2,162.50
Engineering by City Forces,.such bid being the lowest and said Eugene Bulach
being the lowest reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor,
and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint paul.
