RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized with
the consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to issue Purchase Order to
CUIUR- MAGNER COMPANY for 333 tons Burned Lime (Calcium Oxide) at $15.50
per ton f.o.b. Water Department Purification plant, 1900 Rice Street, St.
Paul, Minnesota, making total amount of $5161.51, without advertisement
or competitive bids as an emergency existed where failure to act promptly
would work hardship to the best interests of the City.
