Paul and the Phalen Park Landscaping Co., said contract for
Landscape Planting at Miscellaneous Park Areas in Saint
Paul, and said extra to cover furnishing and planting addi-
tional shrubbery as ,ordered, this work having been requested
by the Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Build-
ings, and agreement made with the contractor, and a memoran-
dum of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller
and countersigned by him.

Contract Number G 1741 was awarded to the Phalen Park Land-
scaping Co. for Landscape Planting at Miscellaneous Park
Areas in St. Paul.
During the course of the work, it was found desirable to
provide and plant additional shrubbery consisting of:
8 Pyrimidal Arborvitae 3 -0
15 Prunus Cistena 5 -6t
15 Snowhill Hydrangea 2 -3t
2 Russian Olive 6 -8t
1 White Birch 3"
30 Spirea Frobeli 15 -18"
22 Zabeli Honeysuckle 5 -6t
and at the request of your office, negotiations have been
conducted with the contractor who agrees to furnish and
plant these additional shrubs for the amount of $417.00,
which is a reasonable amount.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra.
