This property is described as the south 57.6 feet of Lots 1 thru 7, and all of Lots 24 thru 30, also that part of the vacated alley lying adjacent thereto; subject to S.T.H. in Blodk 16, Butter- field Syndicate Add. No. 2. The zoning is Light and Heavy Indulstry since 1922. This'property has a frontage of 179 feet along Minnebaba Avenue, 100 feet along Dale Street, and 390 feet along the Northern Route R/W. The total site area is 48,100 square feet, while the parking area itself is 34,600 square feet. The adjacent land uses are as follows: east across Dale Sireet,are the Great Northern Railroad shops; west across the Northern Route R/W is the Minnebaha playground; north and adjoining is the Electro Motive building, a division of General Motors Corporation; south across Minnebaha Avenue is a tavern; further west are single family residences. Field investigation discloses no basic objection to this operation. Plans meet existing standards for this type of facility, and have been approved by the Traffic Engineer with certain restrictions which may be necessary when the Northern Route is completed. In consideration of the above factors, the Board of 'Zoning reco*imends the granting of this permit for an 80 car parking lot on the above described property in accordance with plans approved November 21, 1958.
