RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
Minnesota, that it does, pursuant to Laws of Minnesota
1947, Article II, Subdivision 6, hereby approve the appoint-
ment made by the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul, of Joseph
F. Gabler as a Commissioner of the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, for the
balance of an unexpired term ending September 15, 1961,
said appointment to take effect immediately, the said
unexpired term having been created by the resignation of
Mr. Lyle W. Hines from his position as a Commissioner of the
said Housing and Redevelopment Authority. - -- —

CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT
TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS Mr. Lyle W. Hines has submitted his resignation from the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint
Paul, and said resignation has been accepted, and
WHEREAS the unexpired term of Mr. Lyle W. Hines as a Commissioner
of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of
Saint Paul, Minnesota extends to September 15, 1961,
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Housing
and Redevelopment Act, Chapter 487, Laws of Minnesota of
1947, Article 2, Subdivision 6, and by virtue of my office
as Mayor of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, I hereby
appoint
JOSEPH F. GABLER
of 1904 Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, to serve as
Commissioner of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of
the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, for the balance of the
unexpired term ending September 15, 1961, this appointment
to take effect immediately.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto signed my name as Mayor of the
City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and caused the official
Corporate Seal of the said City to be impressed hereon this
seventh day of January in the year Nineteen Hundred and
Fifty Nine.
