Playgrounds and P%Lblia Buildings for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work= Supervision, operation, maintenance, care and Protection of public Parks and playgrounds and Of their facilities. And Wjff2W, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances= Seasonal requirements for protection of public property and pursuit of departmental activities, such ass Tending heating plant for the Greenhouse and Zoo continuously; repairs to equipment When forced by necessity to do the work after regular hours; storm damage to boulevard trees produced dangerous situations; sanding of boulevards and Parkways could not wait for regular time attention; municipal athletics and sports and various other recreation programs and activities demanding services beyomd regular time.
