Whereas, Under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11012, approved
June 4, 1957, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in said
Section 2, has reported to the Council its findings and recommenda-
tions in a letter dated January 6, 1959, and
Whereas, the Council has made a study of said report and rec-
ommendation of the Car Allowance Committee, now therefore be it
Resolved, by the Council of the City of St. Paul that the fol-
lowing employees listed below, in the city department set forth,
shall be entitled to and receive the basic mileage allowance pro-
vided for in Ordinance No. 11012, Section 1, subject to the maxi-
mum set out opposite the name of said employee, as listed herein,
pursuant to the provisions of said Section 1 relative to the maxi-
mum provided for car allowance for employees, and effective on the
date set out opposite each name:

In accordance with Ordinance No. 11012, Council File No.
182842, and the resolution contained in Council File No.
182872, the Car Mileage Allowance Committee has passed
on the request received from the Department of Parks,
Playgrounds And Public Buildings for the increase foom
$50.00 to $75.00 maximum, on Type B, for Harold S.
Holmgren; and the request from the Department of Public
Works for the placing of Earl E. Truitt on the basic car
allowance plus mileage as authorized in the ordinance
and resolution.
It is recommended that they be allowed the maximum of
$75.00 on Plan B, as approved by the Committee effective
January 1, 1959.
