Whereas, Under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11542, approved
August 14, 1959, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in said Sec-
tion 5, has reported to the Council its findings and recommendations
in a letter dated October 20, 1959, and
Whereas, the Council has made a study of said report and
recommendation of the Car Allowance Committee, now therefore be it
Resolved, by the Council,of the City of Saint Paul that the
employee listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage allow-
ance provided for in Ordinance No. 11542 subject to $75.00 maximum,
and effective October 1, 1959:

In accordance with Ordinance No. 11542, the Car Mileage Com-
mittee, on October 20, 1959, approved the request of Commis-
sioner Winkel for the placing of G. Kent Schonberger on Car
Allowance Plan B, which is the basic mileage of $1.50 per
day with S minimum of $20.00 per month and a maximum of
$30.00 per month plus $.07V2 per mile for the first 500
miles plus $.05 per mile for the balance over 500 miles
per month, with a maximum of $75.00 per month, effective
October 1, 1959. _
