CROWLEY, Valuation Technician CITY OF SAINT PAUL BUREAU OF VALUATIONS 286 City Hall Saint Paul 2, Minnesota i8 August 4, 1959 Mr. Louis P. Sheahan Corporation Counsel _ City of St. Paul ; Dear Sir: r T l Attached hereto in triplicate, together with maps showing location, are temporary construction per- mits on two of the three parcels which we discussed with the State of Minnesota with reference to highway and bridge con- struction in the vicinity of Sixth Street and Mounds Boule- vard. The parcels involved are city -owned and were acquired for Mounds Parkway in 1914. We have previously suggested to Mr. Lobdell that he secure pictures showing con- ditions prior to the state construction and have been assured that these pictures would be taken. Inasmuch as jurisdiction over the parcels lies with the Parks Department,I presume that the Council resolution will be referred to Mr. Lobdell for the purpose of advising Commissioner Holland. The third parcel involved in our discus- sion is,tax- forfeited and will be referred to the Board of County Commissioners after we have determined that the city's interest in the Phalen Creek sewer easement which crosses this tax- forfeited parcel will be protected. z CApital 4 -4612 1 Very truly yours,. a Valuation Engineer i a jt ' ibaw AUG G' CORPORATION i M,r„ Win*- Arta Val -atinn wlRio1aw- 'tY r,i 4*,, 1P11.7- rn•t !y • STATE OF MINNESOTA DiPARTMUNT OR HIGHWAYS ST.
