AMENDMENT TO CHARTER
Increases the per capita expenditure limitation for
school purposes for 1960 from $25.50 per capita for each in-
habitant of the City plus one -tenth of one gent per capita
for each resident pupil in average daily attendance in excess
of 36,225 to 429.00 per capita for each inhabitant of the
City plus one -tenth of one cent per capita for ehch resident
pupil in average daily attendance in excess of 36,225, and
for 1961 and subsequent years to $31.00 per capita for each
inhabitant of the City plus one -tenth of one cart per capita
for each resident pupil in average daily attendance in excess
of 36,225, and for all other City purposes for 1960 from
$39.50 to 03.00 per capita for each inhabitant of the City,
and for 1961 and subsequent years to V45.00 per capita for
each inhabitant of the City.
Increases the per ca ita tax levy limitation for
school purposes for 1960 from J25.50 per capita for each in-
habitant of the City plus one -tenth of one cent per capita

Authorizes the Comptroller to submit to the City
Counoil, and the City Council by resolution to adopt, an amended
City and school budget for the calendar year 1960, to finance
the same by adoption of new revenue estimates and by certifying
an amended tax lever to the Ramsey County Auditor not later than
November 15,. 1959• -

for 1961 and subsequent years to 4431.00 per capita for each
Inhabitant of the City plus one -tenth of one cent per capita
for each resident pupil in average daily attendance in excess
of 369225, and for all other City purposes for 1960 from
$27.50 to $29.00 per capita for each inhabitant of the City,
and for 1961 and subsequent years to $31:00 per capita for
each inhabitant of the City.
Authorizes the Comptroller to submit to the City
Council, and the City Council by resolution to adopt, an amended
City and School budget for the calendar year 1960s to fin4nce
the same by adoption of new revenue estimates and by certifying
an amended tax levy to the Hamsey.County Auditor not later than
November 15, 1959•
