Resolved, That a special.election is''hereb7 ordered-to be
held in the manner provided by law, in the City of Saint Paul,
Minnesota, on the 3rd day of November, 1959, for the purpose of
submitting to the electors of said City the ratification o ion
of the following School Bond Ordinance, Ordinance loo. J
entitled:
"An ordinance authorizing,and providing �or the issuance
of Twenty -Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars (23,500,000.00)
par value of the bonds of the City of Saint Paul, ginnesota, upon
the approval thereof by the electors of the City o� Saint Paul, for
the following purposes, viz*.,
For the purpose of acquiring school sites and grounds, and
constructing and equipping of new school buildings and additions to
existing school buildings, and for the purpose of the reconstruction,
repair, betterment, remodeling and equipping of existing school
buildings.
This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the
reservation of the public peace, health and safety."
Resolved Further, That the City Clerk be and he hereby is
ordered and inst c#edo cause to be published the full teat of
Ordinance No. ,_„1 J in the St.Paul Dispatch, the St.Paul
Pioneer Press, and the -9t. Paul Legal-Ledger.', Said ordinance shall
be published once in each of said newspapers not less than ten days
nor more than fifteen days before Nov. 3,_1959, and it shall be
preceded by a statement that Said ordinance will be submitted to the
electors of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota,, for ratification or
rejection at a special election to be held on November 3,'l959. The
cost of such publication shall be paid from the election expense
account of the General Fund. _
Resolved Further, That the City Clerk is hereby ordered
and directed to give notice of said election in the - manner provided
by law, and that the registration records on file in the Bureau of
Registration and Elections of the City Clerkis Office shall be used
as provided by law, and he is hereby authorized and directed to"
prepare the necessary voting places, printing, stationery, and
election supplies, the cost thereof, together with the expense of
