Paul has heretofore, for the, year 1960,
COUNCIL RESOLUTION•filed a budget in accordance with the

WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
of the City of Saint Paul has heretofore, for the year 1960,
filed a budget in accordance with the budget procedure of the
City, said budget for 1960 expenditures including an amount
of $24,000 for relocation services to be carried out by said
Authority pursuant to the provisions of applicable law herein-
after referred to; and
WHEREAS, the Council has, by resolution, autholi zed
and does hereby authorize said Housing and Redevelopment Authority
of the City of Saint Paul to levy a special tax upon property,
both real and personal, within the taxing district, pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes 1953, Sec. 462.545, subd. 6, as amended
by Laws of 1959, Regular Session, Chapter 545, Sec. 6, which
limits the tax levy therefor and provides in part: ,
"The Authority is authorized to levy in the
manner specified in this subdivision 6 an
additional levy, not to exceed one cent on each
$100 of taxable valuation in the area of opera-
tion, said levy to be used to defray costs of
providing informational service and relocation
assistance as set forth in Minnesota Statutes,
section 462.445, subdivision 4."
now, therefore, be- it '
RESOLVED, That, for the purpose of making available
the aforesaid sum of $24,000 for the aforesaid relocation ser-
vices to be carried out by the Authority and subject to the
maximum legal tax levy therefor, there be and is hereby levied
for support of said Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the
City of Saint Paul, on all property taxable therefor in said
City, a tax for the year 1959, collectible in 1960, the maximum
tax levy permitted by law therefor, but not to exceed $24,000
as set out in the budget of said Housing and Redevelopment
Authority now on file and of record; and be it

WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
