Whereas The Dominic's Softball team
of Saint 1 ?aul has distinguished itself
through the 1959 season by winnin the
$�ason championship of the City Clas-
ESOLUTION
WHEREAS,, • the Dominic's Softball team of Saint Paul has distinguished k
itself through the 1959 season by winning the Season championship
of the City Classic League; and,
WHEREAS, • as City Champions, the Dominic's went on to win the Metropolitan
Amateur Softball Association championship; and,
WHEREAS, as the top area softball team, the Dominic's participated in the
Northern Regional Amateur Association playoffs and again were
crowned champions; and.
WHEREAS, the Dominic's have maintained a 9 straight winning string in
winning post - season playoffs for three championships; and,
WHEREAS. the Dominic's will journey. to Clearwater, Florida, for come.,
petition in the World Softball .Tournament which starts
September 21st,
NOW THEREFORE, we, the undersigned, members of the Saint Paul City
Council, do hereby commend the Dominic's Softball team of
Saint Paul and extend official best wishes for success in the
World Softball Tournament.
