Resolved, That pursuant to the appli-
cation of Payne Avenue Business Men's
Association therefor, the Commissioner

RESOLVED, that pursuant to the application of H'a� venue
Business Menst Association therefor, thekCommissioner of Public
Works hereby-is authorized to issue a permit to said Association
for the temporary use of Payne Avenue between Jenks Avenue and
Lawson Avenue, by said Association for the conduct of the Payne
Avenue Business Menst Association Square Dance in connection
with said Association's Harvest Festival 1959 and for the temporary
use of Payne Avenue between Jessamine Avenue and Lawson Avenue, by
said Association for the conduct of said Association's Chug Derby
in connection with said Festival; that said permit shall be
operative for one day during the current week; that the same shall
be granted and accepted subject to the obligation of said Association
to fully indemnify and hold harmless the City of Saint Paul from all
liability on account of injuries to person or property arising from
the exercise of said permit by said Association; and that supplemental
to said obligation of said Association, it shall forthwith furnish
Casualty Liability Coverage in the amount of $5,000.00 with said
Association and said City as insured, indemnifying them against all
liability on account of injury to person and property by reason of
anything done under or in connection with said permit, excepting only
bodily injury, sickness or disease including death at any time
resulting therefrom and sustained by any person while practicing for
or participating in any contest sponsered by said Association.
