WHEREAS, in connection with the Opening, Widening and Extension of
LAFAYETTE ROAD from the Northern Pacific Railway Company's Right -of-
Way to Collins Street, it is necessary to acquire the follovld.ng de-
scribed Lots and Parcels of Land:
Lots 5,6 and 8, Block 7, WARREN AND WINSLOW'S ADDITION
Lots 223 and 5, Block 11, WARREN AND WINSLOW'S ADDITION
Lots 2,3,4 and 5, Block 129 WARREN AND WINSLOW +S ADDITION
Lots 2,3 and 4s Block 132 WARREN AND WINSLOWIS- ADDITION
Lot 5, Block 13, WARREN AND WINSLOWtS ADDITION, and HERKEMER
STREET, Vacated, for the needed Right -of -Way and to finance
incidental expenses incurred in connection with such acquisition at
a total estimated cost of $ 17p489.50, and
WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Highways has approved the reim-
bursement to the City of St. Paul far the above stated costs out of
the allocation of Minnesota State -Aid Highway Funds to the City of
St. Paul, under Municipal State -,Aid, PROJECT NUMBER 62- 113 -01, now
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers be and they are hereby auth-
orized and directed to.proceed with the needed acquisition of proper-
ties fcr the Right -of -Way on LAFAYETTE ROAD and that all costs of
acquiring the properties and other - incidental expenses be paid from
the P.I.R. FUND, CODE 3001, said Fund to be reimbursed from the
Municipal State -Aid Fund, Project Number 62- 113 -01.
