RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards the contract for Tow Truck Service for the Department of Public Safety
for period of one year from December 1, 1959, to BISHOP TOWING SERVICE in accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7860 of said Bishop Towing
Service at unit prices bid — $3.00 per Tow Unit upon order of Police Department, $2..00 per
City Cars and $2.00 per use Apparatus, total contract price approximately $1,5,000.00,
such bid being the lowest and said Bishop Towing Service being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and,,,hereby is directed °th,draw up the proper form
of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute same
