Swanson Estate, % Katherine Swanson, Rochester State Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota; Hjalmer Swanson, 456 Palace Avenue, St. Paul 2; John Martisch, 452Y2 Palace Avenue, St. Paul 2; and Mary Ketznew,'452 Palace.Avenue, St. Paul 2; therefore be it RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Paul hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at 10 o clock A. M. on the 18th day of November, 1959, to consider any complaints about the expense incurred by the City of St. Paul and to confirm the amount thereof; be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify, by letter, the record owner of the property in question at his last known ad- dress, and other parties hereinabove mentioned, having an interest in said property. LOBDELL Supt. of P11Wrea0 n A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on this date, for the purpose of creating a lien on the property known as 456 Palace Avenue, described as Lot 130 Block 28, Sub. of Blocks 28 and 29, Stinson, Brown 8 Ralmsey's Addition. Record owner of this property is Katherine Kriha, last known ad- dress at 456 Palace Avenue, St. Paul 2. Copies of the proceedings were mailed to: Katherine Swanson, Rochester State.Hospital, Rochester, Minn. Louis P. Swanson Est., % Katherine Swanson, Rochester State Hospital, Rochester. M. March 13, 1959, in the Council Chambers. C.F. 1913609/ adopted by the Council March 17, 1959 (published March 21, 1959) offered the wrecking by and at the separate cost and ex- pense of the owner, occupant, or other person in control thereof. C.F. 191795, adopted by the Council April 14, 1959 (published April 18, 1959) directed the Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove the dwelling thereon, and do any and all things therein necessary for the protection of life, limb and adjoining property. ?J 1 #2 C.F. 192813,adopted by the Council June 239 1959 (published June 27, 1959) approved the specifications prepared by this office for the wrecking of this building and authorized the Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids, C.F. 193018,.adopted by the Council July 2, 1959 (published July 4, 1959) approved the award of the contract for wrecking to Patsy Wrecking Company for the sum of $537.00 in accordance with speci- fications and Informal Bid 'No. 580. C. F. 194372, adopted by the Council October 20, 1959 (published October 2¢, 1959) provided that the wrecking expense of $537.00 and the expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of $41.59, making a total of $578.59 be paid out of Wreck- ing Condemned Buildings Fund 31 G 22, and in the event that said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be credited to Item 31 G 22. The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a registered bill mailed to the owners. We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred and to confirm the amount.
