Dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the petition of Philip Cormican to rezone

dence and bps been since the enactment of the Ordinance in 1922.
On March 30, 1960, the Commissioner of Finance reported the petition
sufficient with the owners of 5 of the 6 (83.3%) tracts of land
within the prescribed 100 foot radius having signed the petition.
The site which is presently vacant has a frontage of 250 feet along
McLean Avenue and approximately 64.13 feet along unimproved English
Street, res lting in an area of approximately 16,033 square feet.
The applica t proposes to develop it with an off-street parking lot
in connects n with a proposed apartment building on the adjoining
lot to the est. The property under consideration, combined with
the propert adjoining on the west, produces an area of approximately
43,134 square feet.
North and adjoining is vacant land approximately 20 feet above the
property un er consideration; east, and across unimproved English
Street is v cant land; south across McLean Avenue and Point Douglas
Road are si gle- family residences; west and adjoining is the property
recently cl ssified "Ct" residence which will be combined with the
property un er consideration for the proposed development.
The Board of Zoning considered this petition at their regular meet-
ing on Junej 2, and recommend the granting of the petition to rezone
The above described property from "A" residence to "C" residence.
