WHEREAS9 the Council did by Resolution No. 1969299 approved May 3, 19609 as amended
by Resolution No. 197031, approved May 109 19609 authorize the issuance and sale of
$290009000 School Improvement Bonds, Series 1960 A of the City of Saint Paul,to be dated
June 1, 1960s and as the proper city officers have fully caused the said bonds to be
advertised for sale and said advertisement required sealed bids to be submitted on June 149
19609 and as the bids were submitted and opened, examined and tabulated by the Council, and
the joint bid of
Phelps, Fenn & Co.,
J. M. Dain & Company, Inc. and Associates
was found to be the most advantageous, therefore be it
joint
RESOLVED, that the /bid of the aboved named syndicate
be accepted and said bonds awarded at a price, namely, par and accrued interest with a
coupon rate of 3,40 per cent and a premium of $29734.00. �
FURTEER RESOLVED, thatthe Council hereby ratifies and approves each and every act of
the Sinking Fund Committee in connection with the sale of said bonds.
