OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COU CIL RESOL ON- GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE WHEREAS, the Council did by Resolution No. 196886, approved April 28, 1960, authorize the issuance and sale of $2,000,000 City of Saint Paul Water Works Bonds, Series 1960 B, to be dated June 1, 1960, and as the proper city officers have fully caused the said bonds to be advertised for sale and said advertisement required sealed bids to be submitted on June 14, 1960, and as the bids were submitted and opened, examined and tabulated by the Council, and the joint bid of K ' PHELPS, FENN & CO. CA uil a No. 197583 —By Bernard T. J. M. DAIN & COMPANY INC. Whereas, The�Council did by Reso- lution No. 196886, approved April +'•28, and Associates 1960, authorize the issuance and sale of $2,000,000 City of Saint Paul Water Works Bonds, Series 1960 B, to be dated Tune 1, 1960, and as the proper city officers have fully caused the said bonds to be. advertised for sale and was found to be the most advantageous, therefore be it rem!ired— sealed joint RESOLVED, that the bid of the above named syndicate be accepted and said bonds awarded at a price, namely, par and accrued interest with a coupon rate of 3.40 per cent and a premium of $4,679.00. RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Council hereby ratifies and approves each and every act of the Sinking Fund Committee in connection with the sale of said bonds.
