REISOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Construction and Repairs, Paving
Plant, Arundel and Burgess, St. Paul, Minnesota, One Galion 9 -wheel 12 -ton,
self - propelled pneumatic -tired Roller to PAILLIPPI EQUIPMENT COMPANY in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #8024 of said Phillippi Equipment Company for the contract price of
$7676.00, such bid being the lowest meeting City specifications and said

Phillippi Equipment Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul,
